I love the movement to stop photoshopping of magazine photos.  Petitions have forced some magazines to stop the photoshopping tactics, and others are catching on promising to include more “real” women of varying body types.

Celebrities are doing their part to fight image manipulation, like Lorde’s tweet of a photo showing her natural skin compared to a recent photo showing her touched-up photo.

Natural Bias

The results in this study are astounding to see.  How natural are human’s biases?  This segment of 60 minutes (less than 15 minutes long) shows how researchers are evaluating the inherent bias of babies, even as young as 3 months old.  The babies show favoritism for good behavior but they also show favoritism for punishment of bad behavior.

Luckily modern society has learned to socialize people to be more helpful and considerate of others.
